A former attorney, Rob Bildner founded and sold several food companies that helped local farmers bring product to market. An accomplished photographer, he studied photography in workshops across the country and around the world, and photographed the farms, farmers, chefs and food makers in this book. Bildner is a philanthropist and active in community life in the Berkshires and nationally. He holds degrees from Yale University, University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Elisa Spungen Bildner is a former lawyer, CEO, reporter, editor, and journalism professor. She’s a trained chef and yoga instructor. With a BA from Yale, JD from Columbia, and MS in Nutrition, she leads nonprofit boards and contributes widely to consumer, trade, and scholarly publications.
